Visiting the Vincents

We took some time to visit the Vincents.....

Rytting and friends with Gabi

Finally, we went to Utah to visit family/friends in Lehi and Salt Lake.

Jack's buddies and their wives. From Left to Right:
Jennifer, Josh, Callin, Jack, Gabi, Me, and Chrisanne.
Lyndi (Travis' wife) was also there but came late :(

We all had so much fun talking we were
all up until 1AM and yes, Gabi was still awake!

Chrisanne in love with Gabi.

Aunt Tessa and a sleepy Gabi

Proud Grandpa Mike holding his first Grandbaby!

Grandma Diana in love!!

Hiking up in the Uintas...

We took some time to enjoy some of God's beautiful creations! The day after the blessing we took a short hike on a trail in Christmas Meadows.

At the beginning of the trail...

The rest of the gang. Stan, Martha, Olivia, Alicia, Aja, and Xan.

Gabi is all ready for her first hike!

The beautiful Christmas trees at Christmas Meadows!

Mom and Dad having some fun...

Sisterly love (Jack's little sisters Aja and Olivia)...

Gabi needed to nurse while we were out hiking....
we call this picture "Happy Feet".
She also needed a diaper change!

Big...
Bigger...
Biggest...
Needless to say Dad got his workout for the day.

Gabi was awake for the hike back.
She really enjoyed looking around!

This totally looks fake but as we were driving back
to the cabin we literally ran into a flock of sheep! (Note the dead pine trees in the background. Like Arizona, the bark beetle has hit this region pretty hard. In some areas it looks like 1 of every 4 trees is dying.)

"I caught you a delicious...TROUT?!?"
This is the beautiful cutthroat trout that Jack caught outside the cabin.
All of the fish in this part of the Bear River are wild and it is rare for them to get this big.

A cool shot of one of the many humming birds we watched from the cabin.

They really loved that sugar water!!

Gabi's Blessing

We found time to bring our families together to spend a few days at the family cabin on the north slope of the Uinta Mountains. Here are some pics of the main event, Gabi's blessing!

Our little family.

Proud mama with Gabi.

We LOVE our little girl!

Our little angel!

Proud papa.

Another beautiful family portrait!

St. George!

After California, we left for St. George to visit Great Grandma Rytting and JD. We stayed overnight before driving the rest of the way to Lehi, UT.

On this side Gabi is the third great grandchild (and the first girl)!

Gabi learned to smile while we were on our long trip.
This is the only picture where we were able to catch her!
She smiles the biggest for mommy! :D

A catch of a partial smile.

We like to call this inquisitive Gabi...

She still has her moments... :(

Our trip to California!

Jack and I took a long trip after the bar to show off the baby to family and friends! We started our travels in San Bernadino, California to visit Annie's family.

We started it out with a bath! This time Gabi cried after being dried off! :)

Daddy driving to CA at the beginning of our trip.

Gabi in the car. She was an EXCELLENT little traveler!
