Easter!

My apologies, I need to post more! These kiddos take up more time than I thought! HA HA

Easter was lovely. Gabi was so excited this year and helped with the daily countdown on the family calendar. She also said that Ezra was too little to get an easter basket, eggs and candy. More for her I guess!!

Here are some pics and video of the blessed day:

Also we would like to take this time (being Easter and all) to say how grateful we are for Jesus Christ, his life, ministry, atonement and resurrection. Every day we are blessed to have his influence in our lives and we are grateful that he has provided a way for us to be together as a family forever!

March is full and Gabi goes "fishing"

We got a large calendar to put our family and personal events on. Gabi got a hold of the calendar and apparently has blocked off the entire month of March for herself.

Jack took Gabi fishing recently at a local park. I told him not to have too high of expectations as it was her first time. When they got there there was a birthday party there with a huge bounce house that stole her attention. After five minutes Jack gave up on fishing and took her to the playground. Over the next two hours they played on the slides, ate some snow cones, and rode the merry-go-round...twice. On the way home she proclaimed: "Daddy, I LOVE fishing!"

Winter wrap up!

Vincent Family 2010 Recap

2010 was a great year that was filled with many blessings! Here is what has been going on with the Vincent Family:

Ezra:

We welcomed the newest member of our family, Ezra Villalobos Vincent, who was born on June 4. He weighed 8lb 3oz and was. 21 inches long, and has since grown to over 16 lbs and 27.5 inches! He loves to snuggle with his mommy and blankie, eat, roll over, sit up and push himself up on his arms. He has become very vocal recently, and loves to chatter away saying things like "na na na" or "da da da." Sometimes he simply screams, just to test his vocal cords.

One of his favorite pastimes is watching his sister run, jump and play. He just sits and laughs and laughs at her. He currently enjoys sweet potatoes, but doesn't like carrots or avocados.

Ezra is a calm and collected little boy and we are blessed to have him in our family.

Gabi:

Gabriela is now 3.5 years old and had a very momentous year. She became potty trained and started pre-school. She's very proud of both milestones. She has come a long way with in sharing with others and following routines.

Gabi loves to sing and has an amazing memory and ear for music. We find her making up cute words if she doesn't remember the lyrics. Gabi loves imaginitive play and is always acting something out. She also enjoys reading (her version) and having stories read to her.

Gabi is always looking for the next fun thing to do, and there isn't much she won't try. She recently started drawing and coloring, and will make a masterpiece on any scrap of paper she can get a hold of. We love our bright, animated girl.

Annie:
Is enjoying being able to be at home with her kids and attempting to keep up with the housework. She is working on finding her new "normal" in a life with two small kids.

This year she worked on remodeling the basement bathroom and making the rest of the house feel like a home. Annie enjoyed reading the books Remembering Wholeness and It's Just My Nature by Carol Tuttle, The Red Tent by Anita Diamant , and Winter's Flower by Ranae Johnson.

When she finds time, she enjoys practicing her violin and has started to play the oboe again, which she played in our church's annual performance of Handel's Messiah this December.

Jack:

Jack had another busy year filled with work and church service. He continues to practice law at Perkins Coie, and finally saw one of his cases move all the way through litigation. He was very grateful for the experience. He enjoys spends many of his days off working on projects around the house, but he also enjoys time with the family.

When he can swing it, Jack likes to go out hunting or shooting. Although there wasn't much time for that this year, he was still able to bring home a tasty spike elk (his first big game harvest). He has big plans to organize the garage in the coming year so he can finally set up a reloading bench.

We had a fun Thanksgiving this year! Jack's parents and two of his little sisters came down to visit. We went on a hike Thanksgiving morning, had a feast with the extended family, went to the zoo, and visited the temple lights!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
